From October 8 to 31, 2021
Every day from 10 AM to 4 PM

The World Press Photo has been recognized since 1955 as the largest and most prestigious annual press photography competition in the world. The award-winning photographs are assembled in a traveling exhibition visiting more than 120 cities in 50 countries including Saguenay. The international exhibition “World Press Photo 2021” covers the major events of 2020, divided into eight categories (News, General information, Contemporary subject, Portrait, Environment, Nature, Sport and Long-term project).

The winners were chosen by an independent jury which examined more than 74,470 photographs submitted by 4,315 photographers from 130 countries.

The exhibition is presented exclusively at La Pulperie. No other city in Quebec will host the exhibition this year. This is therefore a unique opportunity to come and discover this magnificent exhibition.

Exhibition presented as part of the Zoom Photo Festival Saguenay.

Produced by the World Press Photo Foundation.
World Press Photo receives support from the Dutch Postcode Lottery.
