To tickle the infinite is to explore the depths of the universe, awaken buried secrets and make empty spaces vibrate with meaning. For silence to declare itself, a voice must be given to the unspoken, to the tacit mysteries that inhabit our existence.
Beyond the excessive and at times outrageous nature of his works, Daniel T. Tremblay takes a critical look at society around him. As a self-taught painter born in Chicoutimi in 1956, he brings to life his visions, developing connections between here and elsewhere, between the known and the unknown.
Daniel T., agent of mystery, has travelled many different paths. In his early twenties, drawn to Europe and its great museums, he elaborated and defined his personal artistic trajectory. Following his bachelor’s degree in sociology from Université Laval, he spent a year studying theology and exploring bipolarity, delving into the intricacies of the human mind, unleashing its influences through the exploration of its numerous mysteries. His language transcends the boundaries of ordinary words. It blends in with the universal, associates with the collective unconscious and thrives on the magical intelligence of intuition.
Flirting with mystery means toying with the enigmatic, embracing darkness to extract light.
