Coopérative nationale de l’information indépendante (CN2i)

7 to 30 October 2022

Local pictures. World class.

Our lens professionals have always traveled the regions of Quebec to illustrate the news, to capture the event. This exhibition presented by Les coops de l’information pays tribute to the essential work of our photographers and videographers who, today more than ever, play a key role in our mission to inform the public. They say a picture is worth a thousand words. However, sometimes a static image has the power to germinate sounds or suggest movements. The image can speak while remaining silent. Developed as part of the Zoom Photo Festival event in Saguenay, this exhibition aims to demonstrate that the image makes no discrimination as to geographical locations, seasons, day or night. These photos bear witness to strong moments, from here or elsewhere. Known or anonymous people. They are indelible imprints of our society. Local pictures. World class.

Exhibition presented within the framework of the Zoom Photo Festival Saguenay.
